FAL Digital grows out of the Fun Arabic Learning (FAL) book series – a structured, classroom-tested curriculum used by Arabic schools and weekend centres to teach Modern Standard Arabic to children.

The physical FAL books guide learners from Reception level through progressively more advanced reading and writing skills. FAL Digital adds a carefully designed digital layer on top of this existing progression.

Every digital page, hotspot, and game is anchored to a real book page, preserving the curriculum while opening the door to audio, interactivity, and practice beyond paper.

FAL Digital allows a learner to open a familiar FAL book page on screen, tap hotspots to hear audio, and play structured games linked directly to each lesson.

Each page of the FAL books is presented as a digital page with tappable hotspots. Learners can highlight words, hear pronunciations, and receive visual support while reading.

FAL Digital is intended to complement classroom teaching and home practice. The same underlying book structure supports both school-based and independent learning.

Product Roadmap & Current Status

FAL Digital is being developed in phases, beginning with a working prototype and moving towards structured pilots with schools and centres.

  1. Phase 1 – Prototype (Current)

    Core interactive e-book viewer and initial games implemented for selected pages and levels. Internal testing and iteration on user experience.

  2. Phase 2 – Pilot-Ready Platform

    Expanded coverage for Alphabet, Introductory, and Level 1 content, with audio and games linked to each lesson. Preparation for small-scale pilots with partner schools.

  3. Phase 3 – School Deployment

    Tools for teachers and administrators, including simple class setup, basic progress tracking, and content management aligned with existing FAL book usage.

  4. Phase 4 – Regional Scaling

    Support for wider roll-out in the UK, Europe, and GCC markets, with Arabic-first UX and the capacity to localise or extend content as needed.
